The iSpot maps have now been upgraded for southern African settings. The following changes are effected.

1. Your MySPot>Map will now open showing the area over which you have submitted your observations. This can be as small as your street neighbourhood if you have been home based, or the entire subcontinent if you have ventured far and near. Apart from using it to check on your progress, please also use it to check for odd observations that may have spurious coordinates.

2. The Locality Map when you "Add an observation" now shows southern Africa. Zoom and drag using the standard Google Maps interface to get to your locality. Please remember to zoom in as much as possible: the locality accuracy depends on how closely you zoom - what you see on the map is your estimate of where you might have been.
