Sillustani is the burial ground of the pre-Inca Colla people (Aymara) on a peninsula within Lake Umayo near Puno, Peru. The tombs are towers called chullpas, which although increase in diameter to the top are designed to be earthquake resistant. The Aymara were conquered by the Inca in the 15th century. Sillustani es el cementerio del pueblo Colla pre-inca ( Aymara ) en una península en el lago Umayo cerca de Puno, Perú. Las tumbas son torres llamadas chullpas, que a pesar de aumento en el diámetro de la parte superior están diseñados para ser resistentes a los terremotos. Los aymaras fueron conquistados por los Incas en el siglo 15. Se trata de un proyecto abierto : por favor siéntase bienvenido a contribuir a la biodiversidad del lugar.
