Based on the hairyness of the bee it can be deduced it is a bumblebee.

The head is black, the thorax has a yellow band and the lower part appears black. The abdomen starts as a yellow band, black band and it has this distinct white fuzzy tail.

The abdomen in also pointed, which usually means female however the bee lacked the overall "weight" of a queen and I am no expert. It was carrying pollen.

I think it is one of the following:-

Buff-tailed bumblebee Bombus terrestris
White-tailed bumblebee Bombus lucorum
Garden bumblebee Bombus hortorum (please view the picture of the face as this species is said to have a longer face than the others)
Heath bumblebee Bombus jonellus (round faced)
