Observation - Scleroderma cepa?. Description: Growing under Sycamore by the side of the road. S. cepa usually grows with oak on sandy soils. There were oaks in the area but I'm not sure how close to the spotting, the soil maybe have been damp and probably not sandy but smooth skin and irregular crack
