Cranefly (Tipulidae)

Observation - Cranefly (Tipulidae) - Global. Description: I found this near a Beech tree on unimproved grassland. It's in an area I have previously found lots of Scarlet Caterpillar Club Fungus (Cordyceps militaris) so I'm hoping it will bury itself and sprout some beautiful fungus. Thanks for the ID! I guess no

I found this near a Beech tree on unimproved grassland. It's in an area I have previously found lots of Scarlet Caterpillar Club Fungus (Cordyceps militaris) so I'm hoping it will bury itself and sprout some beautiful fungus. Thanks for the ID!
