At the beginning of October the first of a series of iSpot updates were issued, aimed at improving iSpot in general, and in particular making it work more effectively for international use.

The biggest of these is that you can now choose from a range of iSpot communities for the UK and Ireland, for Chile, and for global use.

Please note that if you want to have access to the species names from the UK Species Inventory you will need to be in the UK and Ireland community; if you are in the other communities you will see species names from the global Catalogue of Life.
