Description:

Locally abundant with 50-100 plants growing in small fynbos remnants scattered through the area. Urban expansion in the form of residential development is a major threat with the majority of plots sure to be developed in the near future. However, the biggest portion of the population occurs on a reserve surrounding a water reservoir, which should be safe from further development. Some alien invasive wattles occur in the area.
