Mistletoe - hemiparasite growing often on the Acacia species and in our case particularly the Senegalia caffra species . The grey leaves are thick and leathery, oval in shape with a grey film on them. The veins are prominent. Flowers appear in clusters, are tubular with a slightly swollen base. Some parts of the flowers are green and other parts yellow to red. It gets some of its nutritional requirements from the host its attached to.
