What was really going on was that there were four or five bulls, presumably from a bachelor herd nearby, that all wanted to mate. One bull followed this mother and its calf down to drink at the watering hole.

Description:

Nest of an unidentified animal made out of various branches and other plant material, including some fresh branches of the vygies that were abundant at the site. The nest was approximately 1m in diameter. It didn't seem to be occupied at the time, although no concerted effort to dismantle the nest was made for fear of disturbing the resident and ruining its hard work!
