Description:

We were hoping to see them in flower after only finding spent flowers on a previous outing and they were there in abundance, must be a few hundred but mostly concentrated in an area close to the road. Unfortunately this is where everyone drops their rubbish when coming from the cafe across the road (pic 4).
Roadbuilding is in progress - I wonder how many plants were lost in the process...
Redlisted as Vulnerable.
Threatened by neglect and trampling, maybe more development.

Description:

Above ground part about 5 cm. Finished flowering but we are reasonably sure that it is L. corymbosa which also grows at Harmony Flats. Have to go back in April or May to see them in flower. I have two plants in two separate pots (bought from Helderberg Nature Reserve long ago) which flowered about a month apart.
