Description:

Small, cryptic, upright growing herb, branched, with leaves divided into 3 thread-like leaflets, very similar to the leaves of Cleome maculata and C. macrophylla. Flowers however tiny, pink, the middle two marked with yellow dots on either side of the lower half. The flowers also have leaf-like bracts at the base of the flower stalks - bracts are absent in macrophylla and maculata. Stamens 5 or 6, the lower two somewhat longer and larger than the rest.
