Description:

This is a tricky one to ID. But the shapes in the water are clearly whales, and from the visible fin and the shape of the whales blowhole, they are almost certaintly either humpback whales or Brydes whales. There was also some breaching whales and some tail and fin slapping further out.

Description:

The Bryde's whale is a baleen whale, more specifically a rorqual belonging to the same group as blue whales and humpback whales. It has twin blowholes with a low splashguard to the front. Like other rorquals, it has no teeth, but has two rows of baleen plates.
