Description:

We must have seen at least 100 plants on this koppie, especially on the way up the northern slope and then on top of the koppie under every other bossie. Saw 1 in flower on the highest point and then another 3 in flower as we descended the north-eastern slope.
Red-listed as Vulnerable.
A relatively high and out-of the way koppie so threats are probably minimal. No obvious aliens observed.

Description:

Flowers about 15mm diameter and 20mm tall. 6-8 very narrow spaghetti-like leaves per plant. Only about 6 flowers observed in this location, which is about 100-200m away from my other observation 4 days ago. This spot, which is more sandy, is in a bit of a gully which would have run-off water from the surrounding koppies. The other location was very rocky and dry.

Posting on behalf of a friend who counted at least 42 plants in flower on this hillside along the Rooikat trail. He said the first pic of the hillside was taken on about 9 March and then he went back on 20 March to get closer pics. Unfortunately not a great shot of the hillside...
