Description:

Found it deep within the grasses in the grasslands. A strong single stem carrying many, spider-like small delicate green and white flowers. Most unusual looking - even orchid like.
First one I have found. Flowering now here in March. A leaf forming a sheath at the base of the plant.

I picked up a long (about 8 cm) dead, pink, tubular flower nearby in Feb. Leaves are huge - about 40 cm long, about 10 cm wide. Glossy green. Gets grazed by cattle where accessible.
