Description:

My apologies for the very bad pictures. Found in annually-burned firebreak - slightly degraded due to cattle trampling. Near indigenous forest patch (one side) and pine compartment on the other. There were some rocky outcrops around. Sparse vegetation on this plantation side of fenceline (where this guy was found), but high grass cover on other side of fenceline < 20 m away.
