Tragically, this is the same female recorded by Jeltje on 28/08 (http://www.ispotnature.org/node/719271) and which we found injured the following evening at virtually the same spot (http://www.ispotnature.org/node/720144). It was taken to the Vet Hospital to be treated and was released the next morning. No further injuries could be seen on it, so unlikely to have been hit by a vehicle. Looks as though it just died while trying to cross the road. Such a beautiful female . . .

Description:

Injured female. Looked as though it had been stood upon. Eyes closed, bleeding from mouth and front foot but still very lively. Charl took it to Rosmead Vet. Hospital where it was examined the following morning. The vet found no broken bones, only one injured eye and allowed it to be released. In the evening I found it lying in the road dead with no sign of further injuries. See next post. Tragically, this is the same female that Jeltje recorded the night before, see http://www.ispotnature.org/node/719271. So sad . . .
