Alex, does Leptotyphlops occidentalis continue as a separate species (Genus!) in its Northern Cape range?

New name

The name Leptotyphlops occidentalis becomes a synonym of Namibiana occidentalis. The genus Leptotyphlops does not disappear as a number of sA species stay in this genus.

See Molecular phylogeny, classification, and biogeography of snakes of the Family Leptotyphlopidae (Reptilia, Squamata), by SOLNY A. ADALSTEINSSON, WILLIAM R. BRANCH, SÉBASTIEN TRAPE, LAURIE J. VITT & S. BLAIR HEDGES, Zootaxa 2244: 1–50 (2009).
