Unfortunately we found this at approx. 23h00 at night and I had to take these photographs with a flash. I only managed two images which were OK. Second image uploaded as well as a higher resolution cropped image the snake's head from the first photo.

The snake is very dark, but that could be because of the photographs. The head looks to be a mamba. The length points in that direction also

I agree, the colour is very

I agree, the colour is very strange- but the body is the right length and shape. I'm not 100% convinced with the head though.
