Description:

Burgundy seeds on wide umbels, and covered in iridescent, tiny turquoise-coloured beetles. Did not photograph (stupid), but did observe leaves.

Are those really seeds? Some of them still appear to have anthers! I would venture that your beetles are pollinating!
