As Steve says, not Arion subfuscus...Think this may be Arion silvaticus, though i can't see a false keel??

I considered A.silvaticus too, but the sides are not as pale (contrasting to pale above) as I normally see for this species. A shot of the underside would be very helpful.

Yep, a closer look would probably clinch it...though the more i look the more i'm tempted to go with your suggestion of A. hortensis.
