Description:

Growing under pine. Cap 5cm across, cup-shaped, livid vinaceous with white patches showing through and darker centre. Stipe hollow, 4.5cm long, 7mm across, cylindrical. Gills creamy, crumbly. Flesh thin and white. Difficult to assess degree of peeling as mushroom disintegrated when tried to peel. Pleasant fruity smell, taste hot and peppery.
