If it bruised when damaged

Turning yellowish, and had a peppery taste, and was under broad-leaved trees; I think it might be Cantharellus cibarius, White Chanterelle. Not one I've ever seen but quite distinctive.

Updated - if caps darker than I thought (they're not too clear in photos), then Fenwickfield is probably right - she often is!

If you click on full image which took a while not sure if it's my internet as took about ten minutes you can see the cloud grey on the cap in the centre.
