Pompilid Wasp?
Description:

Black insect with narrow waist. Long antennae has white 3rd/4th(?)segment.
Wings brown/bronze.
Size c17mm.

White patch

The white patch at the centre of the antennae suggest something like Ichneumon/Protichneumon species. Lots of similar species - aarrgghhh!

The 'aaarrgghhh' part was particularly accurate, I feel. A lovely group for the beginner, these things. ;o)
