Looks like it might well be Glistening Ink Cap C micaceus. You can see the powdery veil vestiges on the caps.

Could be

Could easily be C. micaceus but also C. truncorum looks more or less identical, including veil remnants. C. micaceus has a more downy stem but can't really tell from this pic.

Thank you kind Sir for alerting me to a lookalike Coprinus species i was previously blissfully unaware of! :)

Would like to say otherwise

Would like to say otherwise but I was blissfully unaware of either of these fungal doppelgangers until I spotted one (or was it the other one) a couple of days ago.
