can you remember the size of the cap
It was quite big, i`d say at least 30 cm diameter.
It is not M.procera as it should have distinctive grey-brown banded markings on the stem below the ring.If possible with future finds cut through the stem as some change colour .I think it is M.rhacodes and if it was the stem would have flushed carmine red when cut through plus it would have a strong aromatic smell.
