Notes: Sorry. I've tried to get further, but keep coming to a dead end. The closest I've seen is probably some of the Diplazontinae (e.g. http://ponent.atspace.org/fauna/ins/fam/ichneumonidae/ichneumonidae.htm#f30_1_t15) but these seem to mostly have distinctively marked back legs. It's trickier because of being a male, of course - the ovipositor is a significant part of the ID in these. It's a beautiful photo, so I'd have liked to have got further with it. :o/
