What is soil type? Also dimensions? If you are correct I think this is a very good find and maybe you should report to local Fungi Group!

found under leylandi trees,

found under leylandi trees, soil is underlying clays and chalk with a topsoil of loose soil and leaf breakdown,type. Size is @40mm across point to point, the white top ball is @16-17mm across and stands @35mm high to top. Thanks for your help with ID. Apologies for the lack of technical terms, have a chance now to learn them.
