interestingly fallow deer are

interestingly fallow deer are the only lowland deer that are happy to graze with livestock such as cattle and sheep. roe der and muntjac will not graze or browse in the same field as livestock. this could be due to the different social dynamics of the species with fallow, being heard deer , less scared of the large numbers of livestock and the muntjac and roe, being generally solitary, more unsettled by the presence of livestock. I have excluded Chinese water deer from lowland deer in this instance as I have no experience of them so cannot comment.
