Wow! I wish that I had seen these while I was in Chile. I see from the wikipedia entry that the flowers are 15 - 30cm tall!

Hello, Jonathan! It's a shame that you hadn't seen fox ears while you were in Chile. I hope that you come back soon to know them. There are only two species of Aristolochia in Chile, both endemic to this country, yellow fox ear (Aristolochia bridgesii) and purple fox ear (A. chilensis).
