Pestle Puffball
Description:

Young puffball growing at edge of strip of woodland. 9cm tall, buff in colour. Spore sac 3.5cm across, surface covered in soft pointed warts which rub off to leave an unpatterned surface.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
