... I used to be visited by a Herring Gull we'd nicknamed Limpy while doing cetacean observations for Seawatch-SW from Gwennap Head in Cornwall. Very tame, he'd visit all observers and birders in the area. Also had a number of tics and grooming habits. It's very easy to see personality traits with gulls when they frequent a spot often enough!
