Description:

Growing out of dead deciduous wood, probably Ash, possibly Sycamore. The final image indicates dimension and shows the fungus before I cleared it of detritus to take the photograph.

Everything was shiny that day because it was very wet so I would hesitate to ID as G.lucidum on that basis. Nevertheless, I think you might be right. Thanks again.
