Smaller specimen

This fungus was found as s single specimen in damp grassland. The cap is 7 cm across. The spore print is black and gills very crowded. The last photograph is of a smaller specimen growing as part of a clump about one yard away. The cap is 3 cm in diameter, I assume this to be an immature example of the same fungus

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
