On an area of wood chip
Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!
Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
No interactions present.
I found some odd cylindrical 'bodies' 2-3mmwidth/height reddish turning tannish on wood chips locally. Didn't have a clue but took specimens to a Fungi Day in Pembroke and mycologist said probably Birds' nest fungus!
Looking every day to see what develops!
Don't think mine are Fluted
The more I know the more I realise I don't know
Definitely Cyathus, almost certainly striatus.
