Sorry don't think it is possible to id from single photo of cap. Maybe waxcap, maybe russula maybe ???

Was the area grazed by rabbits? An expert in fungi told me that one of the best sites he'd come across for Waxcaps was on a site that was over-grazed by rabbits.
Most likely the Crimson Waxcap, Hygrocybe punicea.
Yes lots of evidence of rabbits. Had to keep our small terrier on a lead! The display was very impressive, lively colour etc. unfortunately didn't see one in its, entirety they seem to have split.
