mandarin duck
DSCN2771
Description:

I spotted this a while ago at Hedgecourt nature reserve and I immediately thought it was a mandarin duck. After some time looking at the photo, I realised there were no speckled on its chest. I considered a Wood Duck, but that also has spots on its chest.
