I put the pic on Bee Watch site for ID too and got the following:-
Feedback from expert: Thank you for submitting this photo. The bumblebee is a Heath bumblebee. As you are already aware this species has three yellow bands and a white tail. It is distinguished from the similar Garden bumblebee by its short face and more compact shape. The garden bumblebee has a long thin body and a 'horse-like' face.
