Description:

Large bird of prey flying overhead. It was flying straight through, not circling. The second shot doesn't add much: a longer shot as it flew further away.

England's Commonest Bird Prey (not counting Owls)

Taken over from Kestrels, apparently. Incredible. 15 years ago I never saw them at all here in Hertfordshire. Now I see them flying over my house...
