so are all in this agg, colour and pattern varieties of Common Rustic or are actual other Rustic species involved ?

There are 3 species, Common,

There are 3 species, Common, Lesser Common and Remm's Rustic and they can all show considerable variation so your moth could be any one of these 3. If you wanted to know which species your moth was you could contact your county recorder who might offer to do the dissection for you.
