Cap resembles Sulphur Tuft,

Cap resembles Sulphur Tuft, Hypholoma fasciculare, which can be quite varied from creamy yellow to having "fried egg" colours like yours. I have only ever seen H. fasciculare on wood but some Hypholoma grow on soil and have associations with certain mosses, especially Sphagnum and Haircaps. But without more info it's a bit of guess. P
