Description:

Two different specimens of what appear to be the same moth although one is much more chunky than the other. Creamy/white with fine brown spots and 3 more prominent ones on each wing. Chequered pattern along wing edge. Are they male and female of the same species? Seen on campsite.

It's not unusual to see

It's not unusual to see different sized individuals in moths of the same species especially amongst 2nd generation moths which these are likely to be.
