I had doubts about this being

I had doubts about this being a Sycamore moth caterpillar at first because they are so well known for being covered in long 'rosettes' of orange hair, then I realised that the caterpillar has inter-weaved these hairs in the making of the cocoon. Strange to see such a bald caterpillar. Hope this specimen managed to pupate ok.
