What was it growing on ? I have found them at work growing on rotten silage, never in such good condition as this one though. The snowy ink cap in one of my books is Coprinopsis Nivea, so not too sure which is the true fungi. Maybe a name has been changed.
That it was growing on either horse or cattle dung, there are both grazing in the vicinity.you are also right about the name it is indeed Coprinopsis Nivea.
