did it have any smell or colour change in stem when cut or bruised?

go and have a look as its still out on the lawn, seeing if I can get something other than hygrocybes to grow in it :)

No,

mushroom like smell, with a white core with a light brown outer, maybe a bit past it to look at the bruising! It was picked a couple of days ago, sorry :(
