Notes: Hi Igrange, have looked at this a few times and think it could well be a dark form of the very variable Lesser Yellow Underwing. There is a very dark northern form pictured in UKmoths which looks like this- I know the location isnt exactly northern but all the same its like that. In fact I think your one shows more of the typical characterics than the one I refer to. Distinctive subterminal line, curved row of dark dots in front of that and typical shaped stigma.
