Description:

Beautiful classic agaric emerged on a woodland path several weeks ago. Solitary. Cap about 8cms, stem 10-12cms. Large volval bag, no ring. Sandy soil at the base of a large oak in shade.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
