The first 2 pics are same instance, third is nearby and I think the same species at older state? The fruiting body is very white and translucent (NB I had 'fluorescent' here at first, spell check mistake) with the cap having a wet or jelly like appearance. It is growing on dead wood, thought to be a deciduous tree.


Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

Looked in field guide, very likely indeed

and there were beech nearby. Funny no other observations in ispot - this is the Porcelain fungus?

Yes that's the common name but I think ispot has gone wrong over the past few days and is either not showing any ob's on the carousel below or the wrong ones.I am on Flickr too under Fenwickfield.
