Description:

Near field boundary small orange-red club shaped head with a slender stem solitary or in small clusters 0.5cm dia x 3cm tall.Rather an unusual fungi as it grows from caterpillar and moth pupae under the soil.The second photo shows this but I put it back into the soil after photographing it.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
