In Potamophylax species the colouration is like a negative of Halesus species. The markings on a Potamophylax are pale on a dark backround but Halesus have dark markings on a pale backround, invariably a ginger/cinnamon coloured backround. Potamophylax are much drabber overall.

This one isnt a Potamophylax, that genus is a completely different colour scheme as described above. The markings here point to Halesus radiatus.
