bipunctatus

bipunctatus is the common autumnal species. It looks similar to flavipes, but is generally much bigger. flavipes should be around 7mm long...bipunctatus twice that. What size was it (difficult to judge from the photos)?

Comes out at approx. 13 x 29/32 mm i.e. about 12mm long.
So it does look more like bipunctatus than flavipes
