Vapourer Moth - Male (1)
Vapourer Moth - Female (1)
Vapourer Moth Caterpillar (4)
Description:

There were two of these moths flying round and when one landed I was able to take a photo of it. What I hadn't seen (up a ladder, under the eaves) was that it had landed on another object visible in 1. After looking up the identity, it was only when it flew away and I took another look that I realised it was a male on the wingless female and there were eggs present. I have already posted a caterpillar but thought it worth including in this posting to show the full cycle.
