Description:

Size, (with appologies): Looking at the full dorsal view 2 ribs on the tray can be seen, inside distance between them =15 mm. Makes bug ~17 mm.

Goodness, it looks enormous - but isn't. Scale needed; need 20p?

No need at all, in fact now the taxon tree is put up the name alone is sufficient, it'l save me some time too..

Size of bug sorted, thanks for the nudge.

EOL/Wikipedia Overview

Brought this subject up a good few times now re use of subgenus when applied to its use in the link to EOL/Wikipedia. As in, if nether of the 2 use the subgenus the links are pointless. In this instance Wikipedia does use it but has no info on the species. Where as EOL does not use it and comes up with not found. So for those who are interested here is the EOL overview using the binomial Notonecta glauca
